Harry Krensky is a Founder and Managing Partner of Discovery Americas. Mr. Krensky is a Founder and Director of Volaris (ULCC Airline), Traxion (Logistics and Transportation), H+ (Healthcare) and Merited (Education). He serves as Chairman of the Board of Mas (air cargo) and Merited. Mr. Krensky also sits on the board of directors of Kidzania and Buzz Franchise Brands. Previously he served on the Board of Trustees of Colby College (where he served as Chairman of the Investment Committee) and the Governing Board of Defy Ventures. He was a Founder and Managing Partner of emerging market hedge fund managers Discovery Capital Management and Atlas Capital Management; and was a Founder and Lead Portfolio Manager of the Deutsche Bank emerging market hedge fund. He has worked in the emerging market group of Bear Stearns; and has served as an Adjunct Professor of international business at New York University's Stern School of Business. Mr. Krensky has a BA from Colby College, a master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Carlos Mendoza is a Founding Partner and Managing Partner at the private equity firm Discovery Americas since 2004. Mr. Mendoza was the founder and Chairman of the Board of H+, a hospital company, and founder of the airline Volaris, where he served as Co-Project Leader from 2004 to 2006 (a company of the Discovery Americas I Fund). He also served as Coordinator of Advisors to the Secretary of Communications and Transportation, Director General of Public Credit at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, and held various positions at Nacional Financiera, including Deputy Financial Director and Director of Investment Banking. Mr. Mendoza was President of AMEXCAP from 2018 to 2020. He has served on the Boards of various companies, including Volaris, Traxión, H+ hospitals, AMCO Educación, Iké Asistencia, Transportes Lipu, Médica Sur, Grupo Desc, Aeroméxico, Mexicana, Minera Autlán, Petróleos Mexicanos International, BANOBRAS, BANCOMEXT, Nacional Financiera, Patronato del Ahorro Nacional (now BANSEFI), Aseguradora Hidalgo, and Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA). Mr. Mendoza graduated with honors as an Actuary from the Universidad Anáhuac and holds an MBA from Stanford University, having been a Fulbright Scholar and ITT Scholar.

Andres Fabre is responsible for overseeing the operations of the companies in Discovery Americas' portfolio. Until recently, he was CEO of Aeromar Airlines, Mexico's leading regional airline, where he was in charge of restructuring, transforming, and growing the airline. He achieved a profound structural change, confirming Synergy Aerospace's (owner of Avianca Holdings) investment of up to US$100 million in Aeromar. Prior to Aeromar, Andrés was Global COO of KidZania, an edutainment company for children, where he was in charge of the development and operation of KidZania franchises worldwide and contributed to KidZania's growth from 9 to 23 centers. Mr. Fabre is an experienced executive with over 25 years in various industries, having been CEO and COO of several international airlines, including Aviacsa, Volaris, Aerolíneas Argentinas, and the LATAM group, among others. Mr. Fabre has been involved in the travel and hospitality industry since he was 15 years old, working in his family's travel agencies. He is a transport pilot with over 11,000 flight hours, has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a specialization in Tourism, and postgraduate courses in Finance.

Jose Antonio Moran has eighteen years of experience in the private equity industry in Mexico. At Discovery, he is responsible for origination and management of investments, as well as various strategic and operational initiatives. He was part of the founding team of Discovery Americas and since its launch has collaborated in various roles and investments, including Arrendamás, AMCO, Volaris (IPO in 2013), Traxión (IPO in 2017), Iké Asistencia and Hospitales H+. He currently participates in the boards of directors of AMCO and Arrendamás. In addition to Discovery, Mr. Moran worked at the private equity fund Índigo, as well as in investment banking at Protego and strategic consulting at McKinsey. He has been a professor of leadership and entrepreneurship at the Tecnológico de Monterrey and ITAM. He has also served as a mentor in entrepreneurship-promoting organizations in Mexico, including Victoria 147 and New Ventures. José Antonio graduated from the bachelor’s degree in economics at ITAM and has an MBA from Harvard Business School where he received the Dean's Award.

Tom Baldwin is a Managing Director at Discovery Americas. At Discovery, he focuses on sourcing, executing, and managing private equity investments in Mexico and across the region. Prior to joining Discovery, Tom was a Vice President at LIV Capital, a Mexico City-based growth equity firm, where he was a member of the firm’s investment committee and sat on several portfolio company boards of directors. Prior to LIV Capital, Tom was an Associate at Valor Capital Group, a New York City-based venture fund focused on early-to-late stage investments in Brazilian technology companies. Tom began his career in the investment banking and equity research divisions of Goldman Sachs & Co in New York City. He holds an AB, Magna Cum Laude, in International Relations from Brown University, an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Wharton School. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Héctor Montes holds a degree in Actuarial Science from UNAM and has completed various studies and certifications accredited by the CNBV. Since 2012, Héctor has been an Operating Partner at Discovery Americas and is currently the CEO of Servimsa, a company within the DAIV Fund that provides 3PL services to the automotive, steel, and other industries. Héctor served as the CEO of H+ Hospitals, located in Querétaro and Los Cabos, for 10 years, and worked for 12 years at Médica Sur, initially as CFO and for the last 8 years as CEO. He has over 33 years of experience in the financial sector, having served as Director of Investment Banking and Treasurer at NAFINSA, and as Deputy Director of Equity Analysis at Operadora de Bolsa.

Alexis Mobayed joined Discovery in June 2023 as a Senior Associate on the investment team. With a solid background, he brings two years of valuable experience from prominent startups Mondu and Valoreo, where he specialized in strategy and M&A. Prior to that, he served as an investment analyst at Northgate Capital and worked as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Universidad Iberoamericana.

Anakaren Nava joined Discovery Americas in July 2021, and is currently a Senior Associate on the investment team. She primarily focuses on the Education and Financial Services verticals. Prior to joining Discovery Americas, she worked at GBM as an Equity Research analyst, covering the Mexican financial sector and providing investment recommendations to institutional clients, mainly Afores. Anakaren has a degree in Financial Management from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and has passed the CFA Level II exam.

Juan Carlos Hinojosa joined Discovery Americas in January 2022 and currently serves as an Associate, primarily focusing on the Transportation and Logistics vertical. Prior to joining Discovery Americas, Mr. Hinojosa worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at a regional investment bank, participating in Mergers and Acquisitions and Capital Markets transactions, and preparing various valuation reports. Mr. Hinojosa holds a bachelor’s degree in financial management from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and has passed the CFA Level I exam.

Estefanía Meneses joined Discovery in August 2023 as a member of the Legal Team. She has a solid experience in corporate law, specialized in areas such as infrastructure projects and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to Discovery Americas, Estefanía worked for 5 years as a law clerk and associate at Greenberg Traurig law firm. Estefanía holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Universidad Panamericana (UP).

José Antonio González joined Discovery Americas in September 2023 as a Senior Analyst on the investment team. He has experience in the Private Equity industry, having served for two years as an Investment Analyst at WAMEX Private Equity. Before that, he held the position of Investor Relations Analyst at Miranda Partners and completed an internship at Bain and Company. José Antonio has successfully passed the CFA Level 2 exam. On the academic front, he earned a Master of Science in Information Management from KU Leuven. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, both from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM)

Gabriela Perulles joined Discovery in May 2024 as a Senior Analyst on the Investment team. With a solid background, she brings one and a half years of experience from the prominent Mexican start-up and unicorn, Merama, where she specialized in Financial Planning and Analysis of various portfolio companies. Prior to that, she served as an Investment Banking Jr. Associate at SAI Derecho & Economía and as an Investment Banking Analyst at the same firm. Gabriela holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

Lourdes Elizondo joined Discovery Americas in May 2024. She brings two years of experience as a Senior Analyst at Stella Maris, a Mexican VC and Growth Equity fund specializing in the education sector. There, she gained expertise in business valuation and managed the end-to-end execution of investment processes. Prior to this role, she worked as an Analyst at a Search Fund and gained experience as an Intern at Angel Ventures Mexico. Lourdes holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de Monterrey and has completed a Private Equity Course from Wharton Online.

Ximena Sánchez joined Discovery Americas in August 2023, and is currently a Senior Analyst on the investment team. She primarily focuses on the Education and Financial Services verticals. Prior to joining Discovery Americas, she worked at PC Capital, a Mexican private equity firm focused on the mid-market. There, she gained experience in financial analysis and investment evaluation. Ximena holds a degree in Actuarial Sciences from Universidad Anáhuac México Norte. Additionally, she has completed a course on alternative investment at the London School of Economics (LSE).

Fernando Cervantes joined Discovery in May 2024 as an Analyst on the investment team. He brings a background of one year of valuable experience from the search fund Cactus Capital, where he participated in the sourcing and financial modeling of equity investment opportunities. Prior to that, he worked in the ITAM Alumni Office. Fernando studied Business Engineering at ITAM.

Lizbeth Bañuelos has 15 years of experience as a tax specialist in companies dedicated to private passenger transportation. Her main contribution was to Grupo ADO in the development of the tax strategy for the acquisition of new businesses in Spain; she later worked as a tax manager at Traxion. She also served as a tax liaison at Bank of America where she supported tax automation projects. Lizbeth Bañuelos graduated from UNAM with a degree in accounting and a diploma in tax contributions. At Discovery, she is responsible for the treasury and tax compliance of the management companies.

Violeta Chavez joined Discovery Americas in September 2018 and has worked in various roles. She currently serves as an Accountant, primarily focusing on the control, review, and management of compliance obligations for the trusts. Before joining Discovery Americas, Ms. Violeta worked as an Accountant and Tax Specialist at Despacho Dominguez Marin y Cía. S.C., participating in different projects, the latest being the sale of RC operadora de tiendas S de RL de CV to Under Armour México. Ms. Violeta has a degree in Accounting and a specialization in Taxation from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), as well as various courses in her field

Saúl Gómez joined Discovery Americas in 2022, and serves as an Associate in the Finance team. He is responsible of Fund Administration and Investor Relations activities. Prior to joining Discovery, he served as Senior Financial Planning Analyst at portfolio company from the Fund, where he performed financial analysis and modeling of strategic initiatives. Mr. Gómez holds a B.A. in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

Misael Quiroz joined Discovery in August 2023 as a Finance Project Manager. He holds extensive experience in managing financial processes across different industries. His most recent role was with a venture-backed startup, where he led the development of the finance function. Previously, he worked in the insurance industry as a manager specializing in financial planning and analysis. Misael holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from ITESM

Edgar Dávila is an IT Analyst at Discovery Americas with a BA in Administrative Computing from Universidad Mexicana. He joined the firm in June 2021 and is responsible for improving the company’s IT systems and processes. Edgar is passionate about technology and committed to staying up-to-date with industry trends to make significant contributions to the company and the wider IT community.

Isabela Magaña is an intern on the finance team at Discovery Americas, where she joined in 2020. She studies economics at ITAM and is passionate about exploring the intersection of economics and finance. As an intern, Isabela's responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
